Nicole Sempertegui, PhD
Nicole earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University in 2025, where she studied the role of the extracellular matrix and mesenchymal stem cells in regulating breast cancer bone metastasis. In the Magin lab, her research will focus on using biomaterials to create 3D models of lung tissue to study disease and repair. Outside of work, she enjoys watching Netflix, drinking coffee, and discovering new restaurants!
