Sandy Mungaray
Sandy Mungaray is a 1st year graduate student pursuing her master’s in biomedical engineering at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Dr. Magin’s lab in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Her current focus in the Magin lab will be to elucidate and systematically compare the mechanistic influences of ECM composition and stiffness on iAT2 and primary AT2 stemness and directed differention to AT1s and subsequently develop a directed differentiation control framework.
In her free time, Sandy enjoys reading, writing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, soccer, and hanging out with her cats Lawn Mower and Nightmare.
